The Challenge

Woven Tribes Midwifery is led by an experienced and caring midwife, specifically educated, skilled and experienced to provide maternity care outside the hospital setting, in either the parents’ home or chosen birth center. Woven Tribes’ had a need to raise their visibility as a recognized midwife offering among new birthing parents and the home birth community, with the goal of gaining new clients to the growing business.

The Solution: Building Visual Elements

We started with the creative brief and pieces we had to build the site, namely the amazing photography captured during some of the client’s home births. The client loved the idea of a deep, celestial sky for color inspiration, which would reflect the universal connection made during the child birthing experience. To build out color and texture on the site, I chose elements that reflected the client’s earth-based, holistic, homeopathic approach, that would also compliment the intimate photogrpahy.
